    Get creative with your creativity!

With a few friends that have studios of their own, I was shocked to see that many of them do not have much of their own work displayed. Artists need a place to work that reflects their abilities, so what better way to do that than hanging some of their own creations. I knew when I saw this article over at Houzz that I needed to post about it. Friends, you know who you are, take heed to these fun ways to promote your own creativity!!  Vintage pant hangers and old-fashioned wooden clothes pins are fun, inexpensive ways to display small pieces of art on the walls, particularly photos (the article contains colorful pictures of this project).  Tape frame can be used to hang small ornaments and other artistic pieces.  Pillowcases and garland are homey and easy to construct.  A picture of an old, somewhat aged wooden ladder is included in the article, and it contributes a rustic charm to any space.
